I was born on 26th April 2004 at 8:12am in Camden. I have a 24 year old sister called Tasha but I call her Tash. I attended Hugh Middleton primary school to go to nursery. My favourite thing about nursery was playing with the computers. We were also allowed to play in the sand pit during the day and read books. When I went into reception I attended St Peter and St Paul’s primary school and I stayed there till year 6. I enjoyed it at first but when I was in year 2 I started hating it. I was always blamed for things I didn’t do by other children which wasn’t fair but when I got to year 3 I started to enjoy it again because we had activity days and at break time we was allowed to play football. At lunch time, there was a box placed in the playground with skipping ropes and little balls to play with which made it more fun! When I was in year 6, I had to focus more because we had to do SATs. I was a bit confident and knew I could get the grades I wanted. When I got home from school, I would revise for my SATs twice a week to make sure that I knew the answers for the tests. After SATs, we went on a school trip. We went to a place called WoodWorks which is outside London. It was for five days and four nights. It was really fun. We did different activities such as archery, football, tennis and played games with people that ran the place. I would definitely go back!
After year 6 had ended, I went to Portugal ??. We went to visit my grandad as he lives out there. He has lived there all his life. We flew from London Heathrow, terminal 3. The flight was long but I slept through half of it. When we reached Lisbon airport, we got a cab to my family house and we put our stuff away. We then got in the family car and drove for 10 minutes to my grandads. As soon as I got there, I went in my grandfathers swimming pool and went to see his 7 cars in his garage. My grandads house is big! As I was looking at the cars, my grandad let me pick a car and he let me drive it around the area.
The next day I went to the zoo. I went with my auntie, my two cousins, my sister and my mum. All I wanted to see in the zoo was the biggest snake in the world…Python! There were two behind the glass. One was yellow and one was black. They were at least the size of a classroom! My cousins and my mum wanted to get a coffee so we found the nearest place and got a nice refreshing drink. It was a very hot day to be at the zoo. I would say it was around 40 degrees! We carried on walking around the zoo to look at the white tiger, giraffes and the giant elephants. When we got to the giant elephants, there was six altogether but one had been separated because it was the oldest one. Seeing the elephant separated from the others made me sad because I thought the oldest one was about to die. After we saw the elephants, we went to watch a show by the monkeys! It was amazing. They jumping and swinging from ropes. They made me laugh so much. Straight after that, there was a show on put on by dolphins and sea lions. It was really fun. It was amazing seeing them in the water and doing their tricks. They were all jumping up and doing flips. The dolphins allowed two women to hold onto their fin and swim with them. The sea lions made a lot of funny noises and they were dancing! It was really funny! After we saw the shows, we made our way back to my grandad’s to have dinner. We had chicken with chips and salad. We had some salmon as well. The dessert was ice cream, mixed fruit or jelly. It was delicious! After I stuffed my face with food, I went to a little room by the garage with my grandad and played pool with him. We played about four games. I beat him three times and he only beat me once!
